Boa caudial luring video

PanamaRed May 24, 2006 06:39 PM

I got these 2 Gee line pastel hypos from Greg yesterday and took them out for some pics and the male was caudal luring with his tail and I got some video..

Do you think this is why they have the red and white tail colors that are usualy more vibrant as babies? Have you seen this before? I have seen a few do this.

I've seen that before with my salmon's. They do it around feeding time when I set them in a big cardboard box and hang the pre-killed rats down with the prongs. It might be just their wildness kicking in. Have you seen on TV when some snakes lure a bird or a lizard in they use their tail like wiggly worm. That's what I think they do at least. Great VIDEO of it awsome hypo BTW 8) Funny thing is I've only seen it with the salmons but not my regular BCI's I know the salmons are a cross but who know's why..

my hypo het albino did that too, and she looks alot like yours...when she was younger (last year) she draped herself across the water bowl and wiggled her tail down in the shavings. the cockatiel cage was right next to hers, and later I decided to move it.

that is really awesome! I do think that's why those colors are on the bottom of the tail too.
