I'm glad that you brought this up. I received a message from a guy asking me essentially the same question. I've been trying to find the regulations in TN., but I have not been very successful. The only thing that I am sure of is that you cannot take ANY wild animal in TN. This not only includes box turtles, but also tadpoles, ants, worms...wow, I wonder how many 10 year old boys are receiving fines and such in TN?! I would appreciate any info. from a resident of this state who knows the regs. I've tried to email this guy back, but it keeps coming returning as an error. If you're reading this, I'm sorry, this website must have an incorrect email address for you. Have you found out anything?
