Attaching Sliding Glass Doors

biig_worm May 24, 2006 08:25 PM

I am planning on using ca. 3' 1/2" X 3' glass doors for a water dragon enclosure, and am looking for the best way to attach the tracks. I'm not sure if I should attach the tracks to the 3/4" plywood baseboard and top board, or sink the track into a piece of wood attached to the base and ceiling board.

Thanks,
Mo

Mo - I attach my track directly to the tops and bottom of the upper and lower litter dams appropriatly. I use locktite's version of liquid nails holds great even my Big Burmese and her continuious stricks never broke it loose. I attache a pick the upper and lower tracks are Black.

Good Luck

I'm building an 8'X3' cage and want to use sliding glass doors. Where can I buy sliding glass door tracks?

Thanks,

Try Glass Supply companies, or those that repair car windshields, thats where I got mine. Custom ordered of course they didn't stock it.
