I am going. I have been planning for months to go. I am going to have fun. I have a few things in mind that I am going to get. I'll have to see what the show has to offer and how I feel about buying things that day. I wouldn't mind getting a few more Pigmies. I may also get a few more ball pythons. It all depends on if I am ready to make the commitment to go through another set of quarantining period.
Quarantining a new addition of animals is a large undertaking that will require a lot of commitment on my part.

Longtang. I like snakes and rats.

They are supposed to be checking health certificates, every animal brought into the state needs one. Could be a very small show.

Besides if you have everything legal why worry?

He is not crossing state lines and he is just selling them to me.....

Why worry???? Hmmmmmmm...how bout the dumba$$ gathering "evidence" takes your Ghost Corns mistaking them for Eastern Milks because it resembled the penciled illustration on page 36 in their Petersons Field Guide, or how bout this one, snatching up all of your Albino Black Rats & White-sideds - only to "freeze them for evidence" or quarantine them for 30 days then re-release back to the wild"????? Or maybe nabbing a $25,000 investment animal right from underneath your nose, because you don't have all BUT MOST of the necessary documents to prove it wasn't "illegally" collected????? Yep...$25,000 - but you're right...why worry??? Let's tag your maternal egg incubation motto here and let "human" nature takes it's course.
Not meaning to rough anyone up by any means - just sick of supporters. If I thought for a second they were helping the hobby...I'd leave it alone - but the have no idea...just for curiousity's sake, ever consumed alcohol and got behind the wheel of a car?? How bout a little "pot" in your day?? Never??? Think of it this way, you're driving down the road doing 37 in a 35 zone, you get pulled over, the officer beats you down, handcuffs you, puts a few laser tags on ya, chokes you out, impounds your car forever, only to find out the guy barking orders had his colors mixed up, it was a Brown (wild type) Ford T-Bird...you were driving a Pink one with red eyes (or should I say an Albino)

They never fined the folks with under 4" turtles. You know for educational purposes only.
I do have some local ordnances for animals.
Like I said I am not a vendor.
Also I never had a police officer beat me up when pulled over for speeding. Why? Perhaps I used the word sir. Some times I received warnings - no tickets. Been over 25 years since I was pulled over. Perhaps they will beat me up next time. Nahh I am too cute!

You're killing me!!! LOL!! I know, I may have went off the deep end there a little bit. I don't doubt using the word "sir" helps, LOL and I've heard your the Brad Pitt of the reptile world!! Anyways that whole thing may have made more sense if I said "you're doing 37 mph in a 35 mph zone, you get pulled over, they beat you up, blah-blah-blah then to find out the guy they were looking for was driving a 93' Brown Ford with dents and dings, fading paint and expired Ohio plates (obviously a WC native species with external parasites) and you happened to be cruising in a 2003 model with custom paint, show room condition, out of state "collectors" tags...man...could they really be that dumb??? I may have to sleep on that one, I was there!! Be good and stay out of trouble good lookin' : )

some of the Ohio people knew for years they needed permits...and didn't get them.......animals were taken

some got stuff from sources that knew they were illegally being sold.....(go back to them.....get money back.....)...

some were mistaken for the wrong species?..that is stupid....ODNR must be dumb then....I never did deal with Pa Fish Commission.........but I DO know tat Maryland DNR is fairly stupid at times on laws and species identification.,........

.......I think the lawmakers are assinine usually....and I think animals need some rights too.........

as for the $25000 snake that was taken.......from a man who purchased it.....from the man who was told NOT to sell it........he can go to the guy who has te 25000$ and get it back...one way or another......if the first owner was told.....native to Co...do not sell....he did sell......he was wrong not the man in Ohio at the show.........(all second and third hand info......I don't care ...it's not my money)...

as for support........Pa is kewl......I knew people ripping off the wild here........and they were turned in.....to the one man in charge of Pa fish and wildlife endangered species......and they did nothing.......tadaaaaaaaaaaa) no one cared....(he now retired...noone took his place)...

........come to the show......I will show you eastern milks,black rats,eastern garters,under sized turtles,turtles and torts without proper paperwork for salmonella,out of state stuff from their own illegal home state.......etc etc etc...
