=> Natural set up ???? (a few questions)

zxcv1234 May 25, 2006 03:03 PM

My little gecko has grown quite a bit and it is time for a housing upgrade. I am looking to use a 15 gallon tank with a very natural aesthetic look.

What would make a natural looking humidity box? Perhaps I could cover the gladware container I am using with something...

For the substrate it seems pea stone would be best since geckos would not ingest it but I am open to other suggestions.

I plan on putting a nice climbing branch, some slate and of course some water dishes. I was thinking about plants, maybe silk ones but I want to have a desert look (don't think cacti would be safe - other succulents?).

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Pictures of your setups are encouraged for inspiration.

Thanks alot guys!

i dont have a picture but for my hides i have gladware containers. i went to a craft store and bought fake plant leaves and hot glued them all over it. it took forever! but it looks cute.

on second thought this is the top of one, you could take it to the next level however and make it better, i just got sick of gluing.
