I have never owned WC animals up until this year and what changed is me moving to AZ which is the only thing I am allowed to own since I have to capture the animals I want to keep. that being said I have a 1.1 pair of Crotalus cerastes about a year old and they have thus far refused mice rats,gerbils and I figured since the one was getting on the lean side that I would bite the bullet go to the local pet store an buy 2 anoles of appropriate size...
the anoles bounced around int the cage, then one met face to face with the smaller cerastes and you could very much tell it knew it was in trouble... they looked at each other dead in the eye and then the anole started moving his tail in a very rythmic side to side exagerated motion (kinda like the velociraptures in Jurasic park)...well I though thast was interesting but .....it didnt work LOL
