I actually look forward to hearing someone come around a corner and see me spotlighting a cut, because there is always that off chance that they will stop and ask if we are ok. I happen to find it very funny. Last year I was hunting with a friend and a car flew past us maybe going 70 at night he gets about 1/8 of a mile down the road and slams on the brakes. The only thing I could think was " That guy must be a hunter and found an alterna right in front of me." But just as suddenly as he hit the brakes he spun around and headed back for us. He slowed down rolled down the window and asked did you guy loose a small animal out here because I think it just ran across the road in front of me. I said No. Stupid me I missed my chance to tell him some sob story about loosing my poodle or cat. I think from now on when someone asks me what Im doing I will have a little fun with them and tell them that I lost my cat whiskers or my dog fluffy. Does anyone do this already?
