What do you make of this girl?

LauraV May 25, 2006 08:32 PM

I'm new here, as I spend most of my time on the boa forum. Sorry, the balls pictured here are much too grandios for me to want to make everyone suffer with pictures of my normals.

I just traded for her and this one has stumped me. She is in shed in these pics, so will post more after she sheds out, if you think it will help. She is pictured with a normal.

Thanks for any input you can offer.

Looks like a burgundy to me too. Congrats. Keep in mind though that not all burgundys are genetic. A couple of lines have proven but many more have not. That is if you care. Personally I wouldn't. I would just be happy to have picked up such a beautiful snake

I have Balls!

And no, I wasn't planning to breed for Burgundy anyway. Just thought she was a neat looking normal.

Turned her over and thought for sure it had to be a male...doggone big spurs. But, I probed twice and she probed female. I'll wait until she settles in and try again.

At 1770g, I hope she is female and I hope she will eat for me. Just got her today. She went through mite treatment and a photoshoot. I'll give her a bit of a break.

Thanks again for your responses.
