Hi, I do know that tegus that don't brumate and eat year round grow faster during their first few years. However, does it effect the EVENTUAL size that they reach? What I mean is, if the same tegu had not brumated, and say, reaches adult size of 4 feet at 18 months of age and that's it, would the same tegu, had it been allowed to brumate, not only grow slower, but also reach LESS than it would have had it not brumated, in final eventual size?
