More baby hypotrans

pdragon1 May 25, 2006 11:37 PM

I also hatched these little guys today and snapped some quick pics before I rinsed them off. The one on the left is a hypotrans, and the one on the right is a regular trans. The parents of these come from paper-white, patternless double hets. These same parents produced my pink and green hypotranssmoothie. Josh

Yes, they are basically the result of breeding hypopastels and transluscents together. The double hets carry both genes. Josh

Wow those Hypo Trans are really cool!! Very nice Josh. Quite a difference between the two. I think the hypo genes complete the package though. It's gonna be great to see how they turn out after color has been worked into them for while.. A red hypotrans would pretty much be the pinnacle right about now.

Thanks you guys! Some of the double hets are from orange hypopastel(F) cross orange no white trans(M), and red hypopastel(M) cross normal, huge no white trans(F). There are also other semi-unrelated pairings that origoinate from really white and yellow hypopastels cross no white trans. Josh
