I am not sure if you all remember but Spot (our oldest leo) had surgery some weeks back. His tail is still thinner than I would like, but he is recovering nicely. He is eating more and seems to be getting fiesty again. He has never been one to chase crickets much prefering meal worms. He usually lunges at a cricket once or twice and then grows bored. He has been eating phoenix worms but I decided to try him on some crickets. Since he has trouble seeing them (I think it is depth perception issues) I pulled the back legs off, but the suckers can still move. Spot went nuts. He chased them everywhere. He ate 13 large, full grown crickets on Wednesday and eight more yesterday. All of this while munching on Phoenix worms. I am off today to buy more crickets. The little guy is on a cricket munching mission!
