...notice the enlarged abductor muscles typical of wild albigs. Why? Because in the wild they are not getting fed soft rodents all the time, and their jaws get much more of a workout. Eating pancake tortises and land snails really puts those muscles to use. Captive albigs get this look when older, but not usually to the same extent.

That was the first thing I noticed about it also.I took that at a zoo in WestPalm Beach,Fla. I think.That was a fierce looking critter too.
