brindle black rats PICS

redmoon May 26, 2006 11:26 PM

Does anyone on here have pictures of brindle black rat snakes? When I got my brindle, I saw a bunch of pics of babies & adults both, but now, I can't find anything but mine.

Anyway, here are a couple pictures of my girl.

That's a shot of her when she was very obviously gravid. That was two days before she laid.

There's a shot of the parents attempting to copulate. I witnessed that two or three times a week for about a month. He wanted it bad, and she didn't want any part of it.
And here are just a couple shots of the female.

She's about two years old, and four feet long. I bred her with an albino male (in case you didn't notice that from the copulation pic), and I'm hoping to eventually produce albino brindle babies.

thanks,
Ronnie Nocera

These are BOTH brindles. I really like the dark one, and as it was growing up, I always had to remind myself that it was a brindle. Got both of these from Dwight Good. He always has awesome animals. Great guy to do business with too. Enjoy!

BEAUTIFUL animals! I can't believe these guys aren't more popular than they are.
Is the darker one the female? The amount of red in a brindle is sex-linked. Males normally have more red than females.

Dwight is indeed a great guy. I bought some Everglades off of him a couple years ago, and have never been as happy with a purchase from anyone else. I was going to e-mail him today to see if he'd send me some pictures of any brindles or rusty rats that he has. And to see if he'd like to see pics of the Everglades I bought from him.

Thanks for posting your pictures!
