I recently read about epistasis. I understand that it is when one allele masks another. I was wondering if it was possible if tremper albinos, patternless or blizzard are hypostatic or epistatic. If so this could help explain the low number of blazing blizzards and Tremper PA's. It would mean it is possible some of the "double hets" are not double hets at all but only single hets or even completely normal. Has anyone else ever heard of epi and hypostatsis or does anyone have any opinions on this.
