My Thayeri Trio

waspinator421 May 27, 2006 07:54 PM

I finally got a couple females for my male. Here are some pictures of my trio:

Male - Korben (He's in shed right now)

Female - Leeloo

Female - Artax

All are '05's from Dan V... thanks Dan!

I'm hoping the females will be big enough to breed next season, but I'm betting they wont be. I can't wait to see what comes out of these!

I would say you got yourself one dynamite trio there and you should expect great things when they begin producing offspring. The quality of Dan's animals is absolutely second to none. I have quite a stable full of them and have yet to be disappointed, which is quite a statement considering I've purchased multiple specimens from all of the very best. I've bought a significant number of thayeri from Dan and he has never once shipped me an animal with even the slightest concern.

Your decision to buy his animals was a good one indeed. Congrats on your outstanding trio and thanks for sharing the photos!

Hey, thanks! Yours are looking absolutely amazing! Seems like the three you pictured are very similar to mine. Simply beautiful.

Dan has been incredibly helpful and has provided me with great info on getting into breeding these guys. I couldn't be happier with this trio. Thanks again!

You're welcome and likewise, thank you for your compliments. I see these all as compliments directed towards Dan and his noteworthy efforts over the years with his thayeri breeding projects and the outstanding animals he produces. He definitely deserves it. And the fact that he is such a stand-up individual is icing on the cake!

Mike

In the previous post the top two are males, the bottom pic being a female. Here are two more of his females...

....to have such a fantastic Dan Vermilya trio. Mike K. is absolutely right about how special those Dan V. thayeri are, and Mike knows what he's talking about!

That second, white key-holed female is especially stunning. I have visited her picture on Dan's site many times and admired her spectacular beauty. As it turns out, I am expecting her look-alike sister to arrive from Dan V. tomorrow! I can't wait to see her up close and in person!

Cheers!

...I am a girl, lol. It's quite alright, though!

Ahhh... so you're the one who snatched her up! We'll have to compare our results with their offspring. I'm interested in seeing what you get from her.

And thanks for the compliments!

.....Sorry :^) There's usually not too much estrogen flowing through these forums, but I'm glad that I'm no longer in such a small minority!! Welcome! Care to share your first name (in case I missed it before)?

I'll post some pictures of the new girl when she gets here. It will be fun to compare pictures of all of them as they mature! You'll have to be sure to stick around this forum, it's really a great place to be!

By the way, I noticed you named the orange and yellow female "Leeloo". Is that a 5th Element reference? If so, "perfect" is a mighty fine descriptor. Milla would be proud.

My name is Aubrey. I'm also glad to see another female on here!

Yup... 5th Element! I figured Leeloo would be appropriate because she is beautiful, orange-ish, and Korben is her future mate. I know, I'm such a wierdo... but I'm having fun.

Awesome, Aubrey! You're not a weirdo....and the 5th element is one of my favorate movies. Not only is Leeloo beautiful and orange, but she is the ultimate being! And your Korben does strike a fair resemblance to Bruce W :^)

Thanks for the additional photo of Leeloo!

I really like your new MSP female Aubrey. Now that's a "lucky find". I luv her head pattern.

I think I'm the only one on this forum who has a preferance for milksnake phase thayeri. But there is another female (Michelle Rogers) who likes MSP's too. She posts sometimes regularly but I haven't seen her post lately.
