Another breeding question

Everything I have been reading says to put them together for a few days. What I have been doing is puting them together and then removing them after copulation. That should be ok right? Niether snake is shy. Copulation takes place within 5 minutes of puting the male in the enclosure and normaly has been lasting anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. I have done this for the last 3 days strasit and planed tomorow to be the last day of puting them together then just crossing my fingers for the next 4-6 weeks. My method should be fine right?

i always just put them together for a week at a time and then seperate them for 2-3 days and conyinue doing this until i can see that the female is gravid, at that point i remove the male for good. during the 2-3 days apart i power feed the female and offer the male food(he normally wont take it). thats all i have ever done

How long dose it normaly take before you can see visible signs? I read that the male generaly only gets real excited if he sences the female is fertile and ready. I dont know if this is true but if it is thats good cause my male gets extreamly excited everytime I put them together.
