WWMT (Kalamazoo, Michigan) 23 May 06 Man backs away from reptile park plan
A proposed reptile park in Convis Township near Battle Creek will not happen.
David Critchlow was planning on building the park on land off S Drive North. Now, he says he has changed his mind.
Critchlow withdrew his request for a special use permit, saying he didn't want to build the park against people's wishes.
Critchlow is currently looking into other sites. Meanwhile, the park he owns in his Pennfield Township home is set to open this Sunday.
