Well, saw my first snake of the year today. (not that Ive gone looking yet but...) It was dead unfortunately. A nice little 2-3 foot black rat right outside my apartment entrance gate. The thing that annoys me is that it was right on the other side of the exit gate which meant that whoever ran over wasnt going but 5 mph at most. I feel certain they would have seen it so I assume it was on purpose. Looks like I got there about 5 minutes later. It was a great one too. I love the NC black rats, all black, just a little white here and there. Poor guy. heres to hoping the next one is alive.
