Adult female doesnt want to eat

kimax May 29, 2006 10:14 PM

I have a 2 year old female leo that has just decided in the last month that she doesnt want to eat. The last time she ate was I believe three weeks ago and all she ate was one superworm. I originally got her when she was a year old and she would eat anything and everything. I have tried crickets, mealworms, superworms, butterworms, silkworms, waxworms and even a pinky but she just is not interested. She has a large fat reserve so I dont think there is a huge need to panic yet. She lives in a 40 gallon tank by herself. The warm side is at 88F, the middle is around 80F and the cooler side is at 73F. She spends her days in her hut on her warm side and she is still very active at night. Any thoughts, ideas? I checked for mouth rot and it all seems pink and healthy..... Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Kelly

Is she carrying eggs? You can usually see them on the underside/belly if you look.

Do you supplement her with calcium? Do you have a dish of calcium in her cage?

Is she pooping?
