PLEASE HELP,MY PYTHON'S EYE

OK, I HAVE A BALL PYTHON THAT HAS HAD A BAD LEFT EYE SINCE ABOUT 3 MONTHS ALREADY. HE/SHE HAD TROUBLE SHEDDING ONE WEEK, SO I PEELED THE LOOSE SKIN OFF HIS EYE. I THINK WHEN I DID SO, THE THIN FILM DAT PROTECTS HIS EYES CAME OFF TOO. I DONT KNO MUCH. BUT IT LOOKS RUGGED LIKE, RUFF SKINNED LIKE A CRESTED GECKOS SKIN. I TRIED PUTTING HIM IN A TUBBERWARE WIT WATER ON HIS NEXT SHED TO SEE IF HE PEELS IT OFF HIM SELF EVERYTHING CAME OFF BUT HIS EYE IS STILL LIKE THAT. ALL POSTS APPRECIATED. THANKS ~!@ - JASON
