how long has she been eggbound. What is your vet doing about it?

She laid her 4 eggs last thursday and then stopped. She is not in bad shape, but these eggs are huge and its been 4 days with very little downward movement for them so I sought out the Vets opinion. My Vet is great so we keep in touch on these things. She gave her a shot of calcium and oxytocin today to help with contractions. We will give her 4 days to pass these remaining eggs before doing anything else.

I had a 20" ringneck 2 years ago get egg bound with 3 eggs after laying 2, she then laid them I think 2 weeks later.

Not many people have positive outcomes to share on egg binding issues. thanks for sharing that
