You said..."I'm planning on getting a baby veiled, and was wondering what yall's baby cages and adult cages look like, I looked throught the forum and cant find any. Please post a few pictures"...I have kept/bred veileds for many years now. What you keep them in depends on where you live. I live in a cool climate that is quite dry in the winter so I start my babies off in a 20 gallon aquarium. When they are about 4 months of age, I move them to cages that have screen lids and screen fronts. If you live in a warmer climate without airconditioning, then you wouldn't use the same setup that I do.

Any other questions...just ask. I will do the best I can to answer them.

I live down here in louisiana, it stay pretty hot over here, and humid that stays around 60-70 all the time, and higher in the morning. would a 17x16x20 inches cage work for a baby for a month or 2?

I would think that cage should be fine for a month or two...as long as you meet the temperature, lighting requirements, etc. Is it a mesh/wire cage?

Its gonna be a wood top with a hole cut in it for the light, wood back and wood floor, the front and sides will be mesh. it will be escape proof and have alot of air flow.

Air flow is the key...good luck with the wood! With the misting and drip requirements....that stuff may get a little yucky...even only for a few months.

I like the waterproof bottom (sounds funny). This way I can go and soak up any extra water every other day. Plus I get to see the poop and the crixs that didn't make it in to the belly!
