This alterna was spotted and captured last week by A.J. and Jay Holcombe in Iraan. Not sure how big, but who cares. It looks like a nice alterna to me. They asked me to post it so here it is, plus some Splendida caught that night also (I assume)

Hey Wayne, Thanks for posting the pics for me.The Alterna was spotted by AJ,its about 18" long, found around 11:30 pm on a cut. The brown splendida is from Midland county,Tx and the yellow is from Andrews county, Tx Both found last week. I just wanted to show the color differances. Jay H

I didn't see anything around Ft. Davis the rest of that night and pretty much was skunked out around Del Rio.
