exo terra heat pad question

I have an het albino female cali king 03 and I was wandering if the exo terra heat pads are safe to use on the plastic reptile cages. I have her in one of them cuz I dont want her escaping.
these are the heat pads by hagen. i have a thermostat on it.

If it's one of the stick on models, I would stick it to a floor tile (i.e. $0.98 at Home Depot) and shim under the box so there is a bit of an air gap. I would shim a bit under the tile as well. I think most heating pads are pretty safe if you allow some air circulation to prevent too much heat buildup. Good luck.

thanks I will try that later when its cold enough I live in place where I dont worry about the heat in the summer.
I got my hacthling on july 29,2003. Today she ate. So I will not handle for 3 days. I named her Big Momma after the blues singer Big Momma Thorton. I will post a pic of her when she settles in some more and gets used to me handling her.
