I picked her up at a reptile show. The previous owner said she was 4 years old but Im thinking around 2.She is around 3 1/2 feet and fiesty.

She is very active and a strong snake for her size.In two weeks she has eaten 4 large f/t mice and seems to be a bottomless pit. This is the first ratsnake Ive owned that actually likes to soak in the waterbowl.

Don't let it soak too much! I can tell you first hand that it isn't that great! Great looking snake btw! P.S. You missed a shed

2 of my bairdi shed the same day as my russian.

Russians prefer cooler temps. How warm is her enclosure? She may get a bit uncomfortable, and is cooling off in her water bowl. Just a thought. . .

No heat.Room temp 65 to 70.No external parasites.Ive read 3 diff caresheets and they all say they like to soak. She doesnt live in her waterbowl. She just uses it more than my other rats do.

Amazing how much they resemble Eastern Kingsnakes.
I wonder if they are called chainsnakes in their homeland?

Cheers,
