Burm in cage for 1st time.

kilhd May 31, 2006 04:55 AM

So after running heating device and keeping himidity level 60-80% for a few hours. I decided it was time to add water dish, substrate, and burm. He's only been in there about 10 mins as of right now. He went straight to the hide box. Which would be expected in a new place. I know he's going to love his new home though. He looks tiny in it. (Not for long lol)

looks great have you considered some climbing stuff like wooden ramps, wood plank held between 2 boxes with hide areas, etc.
It has nice upper room might as well use it.

Thanks.. I would love to utilize the upper room of the enclosure but i'm afraid I have zero creativity for that type of stuff. I want some vines/plants/limbs all that stuff to make it look more natural. I just don't have a mind for it.

If you want to look into an easy way of making your own vines and what not, get a propane torch, some PVC in a well ventilated area, and go to town, take some accidental over melting, but once you get the feel for it, it's really easy to pull off the look you have in mind, or even if you don't have a mind, go check out your local zoo's hepr enclosures, or well, on here, and recruit one of your friends with an artistic connection, go from there, art and creating are trial and error, the worse thing you can do is not do anything and not experiement with different things... sorry too much of a motivational speech??
