New Babies born this morning!!!!!!!!!!

BCIexotics May 31, 2006 11:00 AM

Woke up this morning extra early just to check on her...knew she was about to drop any minute. Nothing. Went back to bed, got up about an hour later to see all these little white heads and a very proud mama!!

Mom is a a double het snow, dad is a snow. There were 25 live young, 1 premie, and 9 slugs. Out of the 25, there are 6 snows, 6 albinos het snow, 5 anery het snow, and 8 dbl het snows.

All in all this is a pretty awesome litter!!!

Thanks for looking!
Kevin Ivens

What a phenominal litter! I love snows and love seeing them whenever possible I cant wait to see more pics. Also they look like some big babies you got there!

I know the feeling, and it still amazes me just how close the morph ratios are to what is statistically projected (25% each) for such a small population of only 25.

Congrats ... Bill Gaines

wondering why there are posts about great percentage of snows and or good odds? A snow cross double het statistically yields 25% each snow, albino het anery, anery het albino and double hets.

Your snow and albino numbers are right on the money, with 25 live, odds were 6.25 in each group. Your anery is one shy of right on and the double hets were two over. Still, don't get me wrong, fantastic litter and actually very close to statistically dead on.
