How young do they start brumating?

Bezzerra Jul 31, 2003 04:00 PM

Do beardies brumate when they are babies or do they wait until they are older? I just wondered if my 2-month-old might go through it this winter so I can be ready for it and not FREAK OUT! lol.

babies usually do not brumate, but its not unheard of for a dragon under a year old to go through a winter cooling period. At 2 months, i doubt you have to worry about that this winter, but next winter probably you are going to miss your baby for a few weeks or even a few months
