egg question.

WEEBEASTIES May 31, 2006 03:55 PM

This is my first batch of balls (I've raised lotsa lizards) and my question is this...My puppy tipped over the incubator and one container of ball eggs flipped up side down. They were about 2 weeks old at the time. I quickly and carefully put the
eggs back the way they were but will the babies be okay? I candled recently and all have veins. I have seen cases where bearded dragon eggs actually rolled across the floor and all were hatched fine. What do you think?

Chances are most if not all will survive. Now, it is my understanding that the embryos are not free-floating and can drown if rotated. Can being the operative word.
