soft eggs???

My leopard gecko laied eggs three weeks ago and she just laied more and the first eggs are vary soft and the new ones that were laied yesterday are much fermer like the shell dosn't dent in that easily.And one of the eggs from three weeks ago got moldy and shiveled.I was woundering if the first clutch was not fertal.Are the eggs supposed to be vary soft or kinda soft cause the first clutch are vary soft.
