I said goodbye today

kulkat May 31, 2006 09:41 PM

I woke up this morning to find Corona dead, standing on the bottom of his cage, so he must have died in his sleep. Had a good 6 years with him, had him since he was approx. 3- 4 weeks old, only about 2" long! I will miss him terribly. The next Reptile show in Philly is Labor Day, and then I will decide if I want another chameleon.
Other wise right now, I will just tend to my other critters.
Thanks everyone for all the advice throughout the years on Kingsnake!

I'm sorry to hear that you lost Corona. He lived a good long life with you and I'm sure you have many good memories of him. Its never easy to lose a pet...and I'm sure you will continue to miss him.

so sad, my condolences. he must have had a good life to live so long. my old girl is still hanging in there but also spending too much time on the bottom of the cage and not as excited about eating as she used to be. i posted below when she first started being like this. it's hard to watch. i hope she goes in her sleep, too. i hope it's not painful. i've had her since she was 4 weeks old :]
