Xenodon werneri project: Pics

Oxyrhopus Jun 01, 2006 08:58 AM

Just an update for the many who inquired before:

The Xenodon werneri project is going much better than expected.

The female on the right is ovulating or perhaps gravid and they are all doing perfect. The little one needs assist feeding but chomps down pinks/fuzzies like a champ - 4 at a time.

They are a rear-fanged species however their fangs are situated midway in their upper jaw and are indeed quite large for a rear fanged snake.

New borns have been dedicated to close friends, however I will keep folks informed etc to ensure establishment of this species into this wonderful hobby.

Thanks for looking.

Dan
