What substate to use for egg box?

I need to know what substate to use for the egg laying box for GTP's....

I like and use sphagnum moss in my egg boxes that I've washed and precleaned prior to use.

Most people use sphagnum moss. The snakes seem to really like it, it seems to give them a bit of security inside the egg box.
