Anybody finding anything around San Antonio. I recently moved here and havent found much. Except this eastern hognose.

I like the ones from up there, the ones down south are very drab. Good Find!

Congratulations!! Thats a damn good find!! Keep an eye out for desert kingsnakes,bullsnakes,black-necked garters,great plains ratsnakes and others.Your best bet is road hunting right after dark. Kevin

Ya. It was a very pretty snake. I kept it for a little while. But I didnt feel like trying to get it to eat mice. lol.

In the immediate area, I've only seen atrox and Texas rats. There are a few spots I've seen many Diamondback watersnakes. Snakes seem to be pretty inactive. The lizards are pretty active. I've seen A LOT of Cnemidophorous, Sceloporus, and earless lizards. Heading south in a few weeks, going to look for Sistrurus. Hopefully I can make it out west too, dying to find a lepidus.
