Simple recessive morph question...

EmberBall Jun 01, 2006 08:46 PM

I am just curious, do most of you use female Simple Recessive morphs for crosses, and then male Morph x Het females to make the morph?

it is the only way to be sure and make true DH's. We are that point now is all. We had to keep a ton of animals to get to this point as well as all the other breeders that are doing it and have been doing it. You have to have the animals to do it is all. We are only using our super girls to breed homozygous males. We are exclusivly usuing our pastel females to breed to more super males to make more supers. We have alot of homozygous females that will be on next year for that reason alone..

Hey Dave
Some recessive morphs you have to.pieds you don't want to breed pied to pied or caramel to caramel.I think you get a lot of deformites But is this the only ones with this genetic problem?albino to albino seems to be alright.clownto clown and genetic stripe so on and so on does anyone know any other problem genetics besides wobble head spiders?
