not me my snake. the first time it happened was weird but two times warrants a post. the first time was on 5-16 and it just happened again tonight. does he prefer it outside maybe? the grass stimulates him? its not cuz hes moving around, i have him out alot and hes allowed all over. i guess it works out cuz i dont have to clean up poopie. maybe i can train him to do this all the time!! i lucked out i got an all around great snake. thanks for looking

its probably from the movement (no pun intended). my carpet python has done that a few times. youre right...its cool not to have to clean crap out of the tank(s).

matter of fact, when she was in a 4 foot Neodesha her first two years she ONLY "went" outside (I live in Florida.) I made a monster cage for her (7'6"x2'x16"
when she hit 6 feet and now sometimes she goes in her cage. I think it's a combination of the exercise and the natural desire to not give away your position to your enemies. Whenever she "goes" outside, it is followed by a mad dash to get away from it!
