Has anyone tried fruit farms??

Obediah2 Jun 01, 2006 09:52 PM

My grandma lives in Visalia CA, and whenever I'm up there I think that all these farms covered with trees dropping old fruit would attract rodents, and then snakes. I've never had the opportunity to check it out, but I thought maybe someone else has. I know there would be private property issues, my grandma is friends with enough farmers that I'm sure I could get permission.

I've heard people in TX tell me that they were afraid of picking figs at fig farms because of snakes - I'd love to hear of any first hand experience with that as well.

Thanks...have fun out there,

Jake

Never tried 'em, but it seems like a good idea.
