Plastic Boxes - the largest?

nevermore Jun 02, 2006 05:45 AM

Hey all,

I like useing plastic sweater and storage boxes (from Office Max, Home Depot) etc. as a cheap means of caging and temporary caging for my herps.

What are the largest plastic boxes I can use for caging and where can I get them? The largest one I have is about 3 feet by 2 feet. Does anyone know of any sources where I can get something bigger? Preferably, something clear.

thanks,

Josh

I concur the VE 175 is probably the biggest you will find for a reasonable price. Vision makes some pretty big tubs but they are pricy.

The CB110 has a pretty large floor space for a relatively shallow tub. Remember, all tubs are maller on the floor than the top. The CB110 is about 20" x 39" at the top and at the floor is 17" x 36" or 4.25 square feet.

Also, the inside is relatively smooth, no reinforcing ribs or wheel wells. Is easier to clean!!!! I'm building two 10 high rack for them now.
