She is a yearling and has great size already. I'm not real sure how big these guys have to be before breeding but I plan to give her time and growth.

I haven't bred pits before, but from what I can gather, I would make sure she is 3 or 4 years old and at least 4 feet with some good girth. Pit eggs are big, so the female needs to be a decent size for all to go right.
