BCI to BCC

Sloas Jun 02, 2006 05:06 PM

Would it be easier to use a male BCC with a female BCI or the other way around.I have heard BCC are more difficult to breed and was wondering if this was due to the male getting interested or the female not being receptive and not ovulating! Thanks in advance!JOHN

What exactly is a BCC and BCI??? Just wondering

BCC is Boa Constrictor Constrictor (true red tails) and BCI is Boa Constrictor Imperator (Commons, including Colombian Boas, Central American Boas, etc)

The most common breedings I've seen are male BCI to a female BCC. I am unclear if this is due to not wanting to "waste" a female BCI morph or for some other reason.
