California Kingsnake laying eggs........

Kerby... Jun 02, 2006 06:35 PM

Both of the parents are double hets (lavender & albino). I have three clutches of this combo. This is the first of the three to lay eggs. Still laying as we speak so I took a sequence of shots.

That is one nice sequence of pics.

That first pic almost had me fooled for a second. At first glance I thought I was looking at gopher snakes. LOL

They do have a different look to them. I wonder what an albino-lavender will look like?

That's an awesome sequence, Kerby. Almost like a flip-book! Thanks for sharing.

very nice... it could be the angle, but that egg looks really long... can't wait to see your results since the "hets" are visually very different than any cali king normal/het/multi-het i've seen.

Thanx for sharing

He has more of a different look than the 3 females (his siblings).

He was different as a hatchling as well. It took about a year before the yellowing came through but the "hypo/transparent" look was always there.
