Updated pics of my first litter..

bthacker Jun 02, 2006 10:14 PM

Here are some updated pics. They have shed twice and have eaten about a half dozen times. Remember they were born premies.....two of them look very similar to Mom.....I have a feeling I am going to have a few knockouts on my hands when they age a bit....

Glad to see them doing well. They are really looking beautiful. I agree you should have some knockouts once they get a little age on them.

since they were preemies, did they take longer for the first shed than usual?

I've seen that with my BRB's.

Thanks everyone. It was my first litter so to answer your question I imagine it did since they should have been in the mother longer. They really surprised me after a few days of being born how resilient they were....tough little guys!! I really wasn't sure a couple would make it. And only one would refuse rats....but 4 out of 5 started eating right away...after their first shed. Obviously that one is eating now both rats and mice.
