black gap celenops

this guy was crossing the road on the edge of a front on may the 25th at about 9:30 pm. in the black gap area. (about 40 miles southeast of marathon texas). i did not see too many snakes on this trip due to the drought, but it rained this night. take care, troy w.

Nice. Do you herp around that region alot? Keep any WC celenops? If so how are they personality-wise?

I was down there at the same time, and Troy very kindly gave me the below celeanops-and now I must pair it up. If anyone on the Forum is working with this species and owns pure Black Gap animals, I'd be interested in hearing from you.....

Hi Brad,
You need to try to find a mate for that snake. Unfortunately my stock only consists of 118's, w.Sanderson and River Rd. animals. Maybe Ric Blair could help you out. That snake makes me want to try Black Gap this year. Take care.
