STEVES_KIKI Jun 03, 2006 12:19 AM

i found a tree frog on my sliding glass door.....and i wanna know what it is. i live in chesterfield, va which is around richmond....and it looks like a thin toad with 2 black lines on its back legs and sticky feet.... i might be able to post a pic of it tomorrow morning... but this is the 2nd one i've seen. the first one was a mossy green color....very pretty...but i leave my back porch light on....it was raining today and there are always moths and other insects out there around the light. any ideas would be great!!! thanks!!

If the hind legs are yellow underneath, it is probably a Grey Tree Frog, or similar species ( Hyla versicolor (Grey), or Hyla chrosocelis, Hyla avivoca).
that's my only guess without a picture, as i work with these guys.
