Another scale rot question

phiber_optikx Jun 03, 2006 12:33 AM

Molly is blue. Can I add her humid hide so she has a good shed or do I need to keep her completely dry throughout her shed?

My 2 cents:
The shed is how snakes heal skin damage, including scale rot.
I would try to make sure the shed goes well first (without overdoing it), then return to the dry setup. You are likely to see an increased shed frequency as the skins healing process procedes.

Good Luck!
