Frillies acting wierd/stiff

ISH Jul 31, 2003 05:51 PM

Okay I've had my 2 frillies outside in florida for the past two days and they just keep acting all stiff (their bodies are all extended and stiff) and scared. They haven't eaten anything and they don't move around as much as when I had them in my bedroom in ORegon. Is this a common behavior when they feel threatened. Should I bring them back inside or provide more cover/foliage for them to hide under? I have a couple of logs they cling to right now but really no places for them to hide. Just curious. What type of wood and foliage can I put in the cage to aid in their being comfortable?

Frillies seem to be very sensitive to changed conditions. It is normal for them to need some time to acclimate to a new environment. Make sure to give them lots of cover.
