Just finally took a couple of new pictures if this girl. She is 3 years old. If you have never had these before but have considered them, get a pair. They are really cool snakes. Randy W.

Currently I have about... mhmmmm ..... 10-12 situla
1 female laid, 1 is about to laid and a third one should be gravid.
I'm working to a TOP SECRET project with situla that is a dream for ratsnake lovers!

Do they eat all the way through the year, or do they take a break in the summer? Definitely a snake I've always been interested in.
Regards
John

Thanks for the compliment. Mine are fantastic eaters, the only time they slow down is in the winter months. But During the summer there chow hounds.

I brumate mine december thru february, but other than then they are aggressive feeders the rest of the year and never go off food. I fed them their first winter without brumating them and they never missed a meal. Randy
