reputable hogg breeders?

redmoon Jun 03, 2006 05:48 PM

I'm looking for a reputable breeder who would have Sears bloodline Hoggs. Can anyone point one out for me? I'm looking for a male to replace mine, who died last summer(out AC broke, and the heat lamps stayed on- I lost several snakes). I was originally wanting to buy one from the Boaphile, but I see that he doesn't have Hoggs anymore. Rio Bravo Reptiles was my next spot, but they don't have any young at this time.

Can anyone point me towards a breeder who would have Sears bloodline? I'd probably be willing to get something that wasn't Sears, but my female is Sears, and only about 5, maybe 5.5 feet long. I don't want to get a male that will turn out much bigger than her, because I'd be afraid he'd pass on big genes & the babies would be too big for her.

At one point, there were several different people I would have talked to, but I haven't ben too actively looking for new animals for the past few years, and don't have as many conacts anymore. A lot of the people I used to talk to have gotten out of Hoggs, and into different animals.

thanks for the help,
Ronnie Nocera

Chris Canada-Smith (CCS Constrictors) also has Pure Sears Hogs and is one of the "good guys", but he may be sold out already.

Steve, I sent you an e-mail. And Amie- Do you have a website for Chris, or some other way to get ahold of him? I tried searching for his name & CCS Constrictors, and nothing's coming up.

Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it.

John Yocum/Zoo-otics breeds amazing hog island boas. Pure Lemke line hogs. You can't go wrong. Just check out some pics of the ones I got from him and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. Best wishes.

I've tried to e-mail you several times it's not working. I saw in the classified's CCS Constrictors (Chris Canada Smith) is advertising a male hog I think thats what you're looking for

THANKS! I've finally found CCS, and I've e-mailed them. That little male is EXACTLY what I'm looking for, and I can only hope that I get ahold of them before someone else snatches him up.

I really hope I do!

Thanks again for the input everyone. You guys are a great help.
