there are three types of the great stuff foam. if you do a search you will find the products official website. the will tell you how to use it and where to get it. i am still deciding between the one for windows & doors or gaps & cracks. the one for the windows is yellow and cures flexible, and the one for gaps is cream colored and cures rigid.

2) green tree frogs
Here, maybe I can help you choose. I used the one for windows and doors in my terrarium. It was easy to cut through and make the shapes you wanted. Only the inside is foam like and any inside that shows needs to be sealed with silicone or your entire background could become soaked from the inside. Maybe you should give the other stuff a try and let me know if that is easier to work with? (alot more silicone was used to fill in the holes and it took alot longer to dry)

I think my frog owns a megaphone....
good question, when you first put on the great stuff it is white, but after about a week or two it turns yellow. first you:
1) clean tank and tilt it on it's back
2) put plant holders, driftwood in spor you want
3) put the great stuff on
4) let seal for 24 hours.
5) get GE black silicone II and put it on and the quickly put DRY dirt on that
6) let seal and then vacuum off acess dirt
7) touch up uncovered spots
8) put live plants animal (s) in.
use gloves though
contact me if u hav emroe ?'s.
