I've been lurking here once in a while.
I bred my veiled last year but had zero success trying incubate eggs. I guess I just have a hard time trying to keep up with it for 5 or 6 or 7 months. Snakes are much more easy.

I keep looking at the pics of Tyrone & his patterning makes him look like a watercolor painting. His scales don't really blend so much as "pixilate" giving him a really cool effect. Nature really facinates me sometimes.
Anyway, Welcome. =o) Glad you dropped by. Hope you both stay.

Thats a really neat color pattern. how big is he?
jeff
I don't know exactly. He is an adult and about as big as any other regular sized adult. How do you measure them? With the tail? Without it? I could weight him too. I have a nice scale.
Here's a pic of my reptile room. You can see Tyrone's set up in the room.

Most people have scales... i dont... i should have one... hmmm.
I have seen people measure them both with tail and without.
You know, just a rough estimate.
Jeff
LOL
i just checked him and he's 7 inches from the tip of his nose to the base of his tail 14 1/2 inches in total. He weights 116 grams. I think he still has a little growing room, but not much.
